Time for toll bridges to cross the Trent River for non-taxpayers.

Great article, It is time Trent Hills council make a statement what they are doing on the bridge and the hospital. Good article on Facebook. Read Quinte news on what grants Brighton got. I made two predictions recently, council would hire from within on a CEO and the bridge would be stalled by County Council. It appears big projects needs grants to happen. Finally got some action on water main breaks in Tannerville. Started work in Sept on first phase but two more breaks South of the slated work and one on Trent Drive have occurred. This puts the project behind. These breaks and repairs have driven up our Utility rates in the three urban centres.

The bridge to nowhere. I did a story back in the early 1980s about a small municipality south of North Bay that couldn't afford repairs to their main bridge and ended up closing it.

I think that sort of thing is going to become common unless the province changes the tax system, which is highly unlikely.
