I hate this weather and would do anything, within my power, to make it go away. But, in my opinion, to tag it as “climate change” is a bit adventurous. I have the upmost respect for anyone to put themselves and their ideas out there, but to suggest, especially on a municipal level, that we can somehow make a difference takes “adventurous” to a whole new level. Last winter, we experienced an above normal snowfall. But we wrote it off as an “old time winter.” I gently suggest we are in the throes of an old time summer. Other than complain, which I’ve been doing consistently, I think it’s time to suck-it-up-buttercup.

I think the science is clear that we are beyond normal or old.time conditions. Not sure we have any hope of reversing that fact but it is worth trying

Science? Bought and paid for agenda backed by "the science" like they did with covid? Art, please, inform yourself on geongineeering, pressure domes created through the use similar technologies, and just how many actual qualified climateprofessionals are ataing the exact opposite of the government narrative. Just because the CBC and the usual talking heads say so doesn't mean it is.

Not to unduly prolong our discussion, or undermine the belief that any action is good action, but along with the science, the other thing that remains clear is that countries other than Canada are far, far guiltier of polluting the atmosphere, showing no remorse or inclination to do otherwise.

Agree, which is why I have little hope.
